Services & Solutions

Verification built on the standards — and designed to be usable afterwards

Every scope runs through the same process under ISO/IEC 17029 and ISO 14064-3 — from agreeing the boundary to independent review before any statement is issued.

Our services

The four core scopes we currently deliver, with the standards they reference and what you receive.

The VVB Process

How an engagement runs

The process references ISO/IEC 17029 and ISO 14064-3. Each stage carries a timeline committed in the engagement agreement, and no statement is issued until independent review is complete.

  1. 01

    Quotation & engagement agreement

    Quotation / Proposal agreement

We screen for risk, impartiality and team competence, then fix the boundary, assurance level, materiality threshold and sign the engagement agreement.

  2. 02

    Document review

    Document review process

We review the inventory, methodology, data sources and supporting evidence to build the verification plan and flag what must be tested on site.

At least 7 days before site visit

  3. 03

    Verification / validation

    Verification / Validation process

On-site assessment, interviews with data owners, sampling of source evidence, recalculation, and issue of findings for your team to close out.

    Within 30 days

  4. 04

    Independent review

    Independent review process

A reviewer who took no part in the assessment tests whether the evidence is sufficient and the conclusion defensible before the statement may be issued.

    Within 30 days

  5. 05

    Approval & statement issue

Statement approval / submit VVB report to scheme owner

The statement is approved and issued, and the VVB report is submitted to the scheme owner in the format each programme requires.

After the statement is issued

Fact discovered after statement issued

Impact review, update statement and inform related parties

This obligation runs for the full life of the statement, whether the new fact comes from the client, the scheme owner or a third party.

2.2 Advisory

Advisory

Most organisations stall at the same point: the data is not yet in a state anyone can audit. We help you see that gap early — without crossing the impartiality line.

The line we will not cross

Under the impartiality requirements of ISO/IEC 17029, Veriprax does not provide advisory services within the same scope in which we act as your verifier, and will not prepare a greenhouse gas inventory or report that we would then be asked to verify. If your request falls on the wrong side of that line, we will say so in the first conversation.

01

Pre-verification readiness assessment

A review of your data, systems and audit trail that tells you where findings are likely to land, before the verification engagement starts.

02

In-house training

Foundation courses on ISO 14064-1, Scope 3 calculation, and evidence preparation for the teams who own greenhouse gas data day to day.

03

Standards & regulatory briefings

Focused briefings on what IFRS S1/S2, CBAM, the revised T-VER rules and overseas buyer requirements mean for your specific roadmap.

Ready to start your verification?

Our team will scope the engagement, map the timeline, and tell you exactly what evidence you need to prepare. The initial consultation is free of charge.
