Trust, Governance & Impartiality
Impartiality is the only asset we have
A verification statement is worth exactly as much as the reader’s confidence in the impartiality behind it. This page sets out how we manage that — and how you can challenge us.
Impartiality Policy
Impartiality policy
Impartiality is the foundation of every statement issued in the name of Veriprax. If a reader does not believe we are impartial, our statement means nothing — however well the technical work was done.
As Managing Director, I confirm that decisions on verification outcomes rest solely with the assessment team and the independent reviewer. No one in sales, finance or management has authority to influence a technical conclusion, and the remuneration of personnel performing verification is not linked to verification outcomes under any circumstances.
Veriprax will decline any engagement where risks to impartiality cannot be reduced to an acceptable level, regardless of the effect on revenue.

The safeguards we actually operate
Engagement-level risk assessment
Every engagement passes an impartiality risk assessment before acceptance, covering financial relationships, prior consulting, and personal relationships within the team.
Separation of advisory from verification
We do not advise within the same scope in which we verify for a client, and we do not prepare data or reports that we would then be asked to verify.
Assessor rotation
Lead assessors rotate after a defined number of cycles with the same client, to limit familiarity risk.
Independent review
A reviewer with no involvement in the assessment holds the authority to withhold approval of a statement — and exercising it requires no management sign-off.
Impartiality safeguarding committee
A committee including external stakeholder representation regularly reviews how the organisation manages impartiality risk.
Confidentiality
Client information is held under restricted access limited to those working on the engagement, and is not disclosed externally except where law or a scheme owner requires it.
Complaints & Appeals
Complaints and appeals
You have the right to challenge our verification decisions and to complain about the conduct of our people. Both routes are decided by someone with no involvement in the matter being raised.
Complaint
A complaint is an expression of dissatisfaction with our operations, service, or the conduct of Veriprax personnel. It may be raised by a client or by any external party.
Appeal
An appeal is a request to reconsider a decision on a verification outcome. It may be lodged by the client affected by that decision, within 30 days of being notified.
